The US program overnight trip for the culture class and the bus trips were my favorite events that I participated in while at KCP. They were fun, and gave me a chance to go outside of Tokyo and make friends.

The price seemed good and the fact that you could earn school credit.

Even though it was hard I enjoyed learning grammar in class so that was the most interesting and productive aspect.

The hanami was my favorite because it was a lot more relaxing than other events and I got the chance to really get to know my classmates.

Learned a ton from my host family, I really enjoyed staying with them. I also really loved going out with classmates where we could only really communicate in Japanese, that was a lot of fun.

The best part of the program however is the fact that the school is primarily made up of non-American students, so you really get to know great people and learn about many different cultures, all while learning Japanese.

The trip to Edomura was very fun and I got to bond with some of my classmates well!

To gain the perspective of living in both a large city and a foreign city for near a year’s time.

I found the culture class the most satisfying because it was fun taking tours and learning more about Japanese culture and history.

Make an effort to make Japanese friends if your goal is to improve your speaking ability! I enjoyed the sports festival. It was a good time to bond with the class and also have fun with a little exercise! It was a nice refresher from being inside the classroom.
