The field trip to Yamanashi Prefecture was an incredible experience and provided really interesting historical and cultural information.

We went on a day-trip to Yamanashi Prefecture, which was a highlight of my trip. We got to see Mt. Fuji, a traditional replica village, a peach farm, and a temple. Later on, I was also able to visit Asakusa through KCP, and learn about the rich history and culture it brings to Tokyo. My favorite parts about my trip were learning about Japan’s culture and how it brings together its old and new aspects.

Most productive was the fact that I intensively learned a language for barely 2 months and was able to make of most Japanese conversations in certain scenarios. Interesting was Japanese way of life compared to America’s.

KCP certainly pushed me in all different ways in order to really immerse myself in not only the language but also Japanese Culture. I was very pleased with how the actual classes were set up. I felt they arranged it in a way that exercises all different skills in using a foreign language.

Overall my experience at KCP was very positive and I strongly believe my Japanese has improved greatly. The faculty and teachers are all very kind and go out of their way to try and help the students. I appreciate their hard work and am proud of my achievements at KCP.. ありがとうございました！

The study is indeed intensive (depends on whether or not yourself work hard) and you truly can learn lots of tings from here and make a huge step on your Japanese language ability.

The one of the most interesting and productive aspects of the program was the dogged desire that one of the instructors had getting us to talk to one another in 日本語. Without that push, I don’t think I would ever have started thinking in the language like I can now.

The most interesting aspects the program had for me was the fashion in which the classes were taught. Everything was timely and orderly. All the teachers were outstanding and caring. The material taught was easy and fascinating.

I liked how the school would send us information on activities happening around tokyo! It was one thing to look events up ourselves, and another to already have an idea of what we could do. I loved everything about it, honestly. The classes were brilliant and even the group sessions were extreeemely valuable.

The dorm staff of Kitazono women’s dormitory were really friendly and organised lots of events like nagashi soumen and a fireworks celebration which I really enjoyed!

The dorm manager and the staff are incredibly caring and generous and go above and beyond to care for all the tenants. The food served in the cafeteria is terrific, the facilities in Tanashi II dorm are great, and if something does fall into disrepair, it gets taken care of.anager and the staff are incredibly caring and generous and go above and beyond to care for all the tenants.
