The most productive aspect of the program was the in-class grammar instruction.

The trip to the Park was great and we got to meet Japanese students.

The most productive were the classes, and the interaction that happened within the classes. Overall I thought the program was really well run and organized.

The most interesting aspect was meeting people from different cultures and making new friends. The culture course allowed me to learn about Japanese history and how it applies to modern day Japan.

I enjoyed the trip to Yamanashi and the Washoku workshop the most, because they are out-of-school opportunities to observe and experience Japan. Outdoor trips are always exciting even to us college students.

The trip to Enoshima as a group was a great experience. Very enjoyable to travel outside of the city.

I got to practice listening and speaking in class. I found the textbooks pretty helpful.

The Kamakura trip. Allowed for us to see a side of Japan we hadn’t been truly introduced to.

I thought the teachers were all very skilled and caring. The classwork pushed me to work hard while still being fairly hands-off. There were plenty of available resources for me when I needed help. And the class time itself was surprisingly fun, with a fast-paced and energetic atmosphere. It felt like pretty much all of the students really wanted to be there and were invested in their own improvement.

I feel more prepared in class and I found the small group sessions were also helpful! I want to go back to KCP and see all the teachers again!!
