Which events or activities did you find the most satisfying and why?
The club activities were very fun. It was the best opportunity to actually utuilize the Japanese skills learned in class in addition to making friends. The Tea Ceremony club was a lovely glance into traditional Japanese culture.
Which co-curriculum classes did you find most satisfying?
I really enjoyed the Japanese culture class on Saturdays.
Why did you select this program?
The price of tuition and housing was very reasonable, as well as the time frame of each term.
What activities or materials did you find most helpful (e.g., pair work, drill practice, tests, small group sessions, textbooks, games)?
Pairwork and working out of the textbooks was the best for me. The frequent tests were a good way to reinforce our studies. The group work wasn't that efficient though.
Any further thoughts or tips for those considering the program or new KCP students?
KCPis an intense yet fair Japanese language program. It is almost surprising how much language skills one picks up within such a short time frame. It was both an educational and fun experience.
