Definitely a good choice for anyone who is serious about learning Japanese thoroughly and at a fast pace.
Which events or activities did you find the most satisfying and why?
I really enjoyed the Kanazawa trip, especially since it was not really a place a I would have traveled to on my own.
What were the most productive and interesting aspects of the program for you? The least interesting and productive?
I mostly only participated in the general Japanese classes and US special studies class, so I can only speak for that. But I enjoyed them both. I also enjoyed the trip to Kanazawa.
Any further thoughts or tips for those considering the program or new KCP students?
Definitely a good choice for anyone who is serious about learning Japanese thoroughly and at a fast pace. I learned more in 3 months here than I did in probably the equivalent of 2 years in the US. All the teachers I have had thus far have been great, and the students are all nice and very self-motivated. It is a very good atmosphere.
